Cinderella – Mini Musical
A short, fun musical for schools
A Classic Fairy Tale with a Rock ’n’ Roll Twist
Cinderella – What A Ball! Mini Musical is a fun, lively retelling of the classic fairy tale, with a cool, rockin’ Fairy Godmother, plenty of humour and a touch of romance. Cinderella dreams of escaping her dreary life with her bossy stepmother and bickering stepsisters, while the arrival of a Prince looking for a bride sets the story in motion.
With four lively songs, plus the bluesy Fairy Godmother character pieces and the upbeat rock ’n’ roll number New Glass Shoes, this 30-minute mini musical is easy for primary students to perform and packed with opportunities for character, comedy and fun.
A familiar story, simple to stage and designed to be manageable for schools, Cinderella Mini Musical is a delightful introduction to musical performance for young performers.
A Mini Musical with a Proven History
Cinderella was a popular title in our A Musical In A Day programs, where students learnt, rehearsed and performed a complete musical in just one day. Its familiar fairy-tale story, memorable characters, catchy songs and plenty of comedy made it a favourite with young performers.
